Post-Graduate Student in Animation
About
After recently graduating with a BA in Drama and Contemporary Performance at Manchester Metropolitan University (2019–2022), I began my Masters in Animation (2022–2023), focusing on Stop-motion and 2D animated pieces. My experience in DCP allowed me to explore several different elements of theatre, including the hybridisation of live performance and animation to enhance the storytelling elements of my performances.
I have focused my work predominantly on storytelling through my animated pieces, working with both fiction and non-fiction. My passion has encouraged me to explore this further, bringing me to working with historic artefacts and exploring the creation of these pieces.
My interest lies in using my artistic skills to help other people and produce informative animated pieces to share knowledge and stories through eye-catching and captivating visuals. This passion and determination has led me to work on several projects outside of my studies, allowing me to increase my understanding of animation as a medium and helping other people express their stories and ideas.
