While certain places and paths are identifiable, the map itself is fractured and dispersed across time and space. The migration stories of the youth researchers are reflected on the map in disordered places, intermingled lines, and black arrows. They intersect with the stories of the ancient objects they have been researching, shown through the coloured threads. This map invites viewers to encounter the world from the unique perspectives of these people and objects, who have arrived in this place across shifting eras and borders, and in doing so, created new pathways to belonging.
